Oxford Sewage Pumping Station Upgrades
All Niagara Region projects

About the Project

The Oxford Sewage Pumping Station is owned and operated by Niagara Region. It's located in the median of Oxford Boulevard in Port Colborne. The station was originally constructed in 1975. The most recent 2016 Water and Wastewater Master Servicing Plan has predicted growth in the catchment area by 2041. Given the age, poor condition and escalating maintenance costs associated with the sewage pumping station, a capacity and sustainability increase is needed.

Upgrades will be completed on:

  • Pumps
  • Meters
  • Valves
  • Electrical
  • HVAC
  • Generator
