Niagara Region is building a new Police Headquarters facility at 5700 Valley Way in Niagara Falls. The new facility will officially open on September 20, 2016.
This purpose-built police facility has resulted in significant operational and economic efficiencies. As a result of this transition, the Niagara Regional Police Service will permanently close and vacate five separate facilities.
Front-line police services in St. Catharines and Thorold will continue to operate out of 68 Church St. in St. Catharines until the new facility is constructed on Welland Ave. beginning in 2017.
On September 20, 2016 the Niagara Regional Police Service will become operational at the new facility in Niagara Falls. All front-line police services for Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake will be delivered from the Valley Way facility. Police operations and services currently being offered from the police station located at 4343 Morrison St. in Niagara Falls will end.
As Niagara Regional Police progress through their multi-phased move plan they will be sharing key dates in service location changes with the public.
