Public Participation Meeting On Proposed Change to
Fees and Charges By-Law

The Integrated Committee Planning Committee will be considering a change to the Fees and Charges By-law at a meeting to be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 1:00 pm. in the Council Chamber, Regional Headquarters, 2201 St. David's Road, Thorold, Ontario. The proposed change would provide that the application fee charged to "Establish a new pit or quarry" be expanded to include "Establish or expand a pit or quarry".

Members of the public may appear as a delegation with respect to the proposed change to the Fees and Charges By-law. To register as a delegation please contact Natasha Dawn, Legislative Assistant at 905-685-4225 Ext. 3296.  Each delegation will be provided up to 10 minutes for their presentation. The Chair of the Integrated Committee Planning Committee will also ask after all registered delegations have been heard if there are any other persons wishing to make a presentation. Notice of Proposed Adoption of a By-law to Amend the Fees and
Charges By-law

It is the intention that the proposed by-law to amend the  Fees and Charges By-law will be forwarded to Regional Council for consideration on January 19, 2011.  The date of adoption for the amendment to the Fees and Charges By-law may change depending on the meetings required to consider this matter.
