Centre Street Leash-Free Dog Park Closures: June 19 - 28

The Centre Street Park and Leash-Free Dog Park will experience closures during the week of June 19-28 to accommodate needed construction.

The follow closures will be taking place during the week:
  • June 19 - 22: Entire Centre Street Park is closed with no public access
  • June 23 - 25: Entire Centre Street Park is open​
  • June 26 - 28: Entire Centre Street Park is closed with no public access
  • June 29: Entire Centre Street Park is open

During Leash-Free Dog Park closures, large and small dogs will still be required to use their respective leash-free areas.

Visitors to the park should expect the following while work is being completed:

  • Possible limited access to parking
  • Noise
  • Trucks/ Tractors

Visitors to the park are asked to obey all signs and barriers and not allow pets in areas of the park where construction is taking place. Owners of pets that are  sensitive to noise or trafficmay wish to avoid the park with their pets while this work is taking place. Pet owners are advised to use use extra caution and ensure  pets are leashed when not in the leash-free area.
