Health Bus

While no longer a bus, the Health Bus continues to offer Niagara residents many valuable services.

Services provided by the Health Bus are now being offered inside the buildings of our community partners.

These include:

  • Treatment for minor medical conditions
  • Mental health counselling
  • Immunization
  • Sexual health counselling
  • Sexually transmitted disease counselling, education, testing and treatment
  • Health education
  • Illness prevention
  • General health assessments
  • Prescriptions can be written when a nurse practitioner is present

The Health Bus is staffed by two registered nurse practitioners, public health nurses and a community support worker from our Community Mental Health Program.

  • Dental services are not available.
  • You do not need a health card.
