The Niagara Road 12 Liaison Committee is a "Citizens" Committee established by the former Board of Management. It reports to Niagara Region Council through the Planning and Public Works Committee on matters related to the operation of the landfill site . The primary focus of the Niagara Road 12 Liaison Committee is to address impacts of the Niagara Road 12 landfill site on the surrounding community and the solutions to those impacts to be proposed by the Region of Niagara. In addition, the Niagara Road 12 Liaison Committee shall address public education and shall comment on the day-to-day activities of the landfill site.

Typically the meetings are held at the "call of the chair" (at least on a quarterly basis) and are held at the Township of West Lincoln.
