The purpose of this Committee is to receive input from stakeholders and the broader Niagara community into the service needs and performance of inter-municipal specialized transit services.

Membership

The Committee is made up of 19 members:

  • 15 Citizens
  • 4 Councillors
    • 2 city/town councillors
      • 1 councillor from a city/town with transit
      • 1 councillor from a city/town without transit
    • 2 regional councillors

The citizen members are selected on how well they can represent potential users of the inter-municipal transit system, other agencies that provide health and social support services to potential users of the system, other providers of specialized transit services in Niagara, Regional Accessibility Advisory Committee, municipal Accessibility Advisory Committees and the Area Municipalities in Niagara.

Meetings

The meetings are held every six weeks, usually on Tuesdays. The meetings are open to the public.
