    CAN Bike is the Canadian Standard for cycling education and Public Health offers a full roster of CAN Bike courses for both adults and children from beginner (learn to ride) to instructor levels. Plans are currently underway for the spring 2010 CAN Bike courses. Please visit us again in 2010 for the full roster of courses.     Enjoy the Ride DVD from your Local Library This is a 20 minute DVD available at all main libraries in Niagara.

    This DVD is a review for adults who cycle on the road and parents who ride with their children. It reviews the rules of the road as they apply to cyclists, to increase their safety and comfort zone, so that they can enjoy cycling around Niagara.

Child Safety

The 2-V-1 Bicycle Rule Every year children fall off their bikes and have to go to the hospital. There are two important ways you can help your child be safe when they ride their bikes are:

Be Aware. Be There.

Know what your child is doing.
Stay close so that you can help.
