Select from over 200 Niagara scenic 'loop rides' for recreational cyclists and tourists. This library presents opportunities for all levels of cyclists to experience the beauty and diversity of Niagara.
As one of Canada's premier bicycle touring destinations, cyclists can now easily choose pre-selected tours that take advantage of the Region's magnificent falls, wineries, orchards, waterways, lakes, parks, quaint historic villages, agri-tourism destinations and the Niagara Escarpment (a World Biosphere Reserve).
New for 2010: Sort by Themes
Cyclists can now sort their route selection by themes, including heritage and culture, interesting landscapes and the great lakes.
Just enter the parameters that meet your interests and a list of rides will appear. From there, you may then print out a PDF version (copy) of the ride(s) that you desire and take it with you on your adventure. Each 'loop ride' provides a detailed map, start point, cue sheet and distance. Some of the longer rides even provide information on local rest stops the local bicycle club will frequent on their organized rides. For additional information on access to the starting point and on cycling conditions of local roadways and trails, you may also wish to print parts of the Niagara Region Bicycling Map.
To effectively plan your route, the temporary Regional road closures are available for your review.

Finally, the Regional Niagara Bicycling Committee and the Niagara Freewheelers Bicycle Touring Club thank Healthy Living Niagara (HLN) for their financial contribution to this project. HLN is a partnership of community groups working together for a healthy Niagara.
Developed primarily by the Niagara Freewheelers Bicycle Touring Club in association with the Regional Niagara Bicycling Committee and Healthy Living Niagara, these rides unlock the many secrets to Niagara's enormous wealth of quiet country lanes and trails.
