Sealed tenders, plainly marked as to contents, will be received by Niagara Region Corporate Services, Campbell West, 1815 Sir Isaac Brock Way, Thorold, ON, until 2 p.m. local time.
This contract is for the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials required to complete the watermain replacement on Pine Street and Highland Avenue. The project scope of work includes the following:
This contract utilizes the Niagara Peninsula Standard Contract Document (Revision 17) which forms the specification documents excepting the "Special Instruction to Bidders, Form of Tender and Supplementary Special Provisions".
Plans, Specifications, and Form of Tender may be obtained from Niagara Region Corporate Services, Campbell West, 1815 Sir Isaac Brock Way, Thorold, ON. A non-refundable payment in the amount of $50, reflecting part of the cost of document preparation, will be required for each set of tender documents taken. Tender documents will be available for pick-up after noon on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Plans and specifications may be viewed without charge, but not removed, at the major construction association offices.
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender deposit in the amount of $80,000
Tenders will be publicly opened at 2:15 p.m. at Campbell West, 1815 Sir Isaac Brock Way, Thorold. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
