Notice of Completion - Transportation Master Plan

As part of the Niagara 2041 Growth Strategy, we have completed our Transportation Master Plan (How We GO) to guide development and accommodate change over the next twenty-five years, while enhancing quality of life and supporting economic prosperity.

The Transportation Master Plan provides a strategic vision for transportation in Niagara and ensures that future transportation needs are addressed through:

  • Pedestrian and cycling facilities
  • Demand-responsive and conventional transit
  • Integrated network of roads and highways for the movement of people and goods

The Transportation Master Plan highlights key recommendations and supporting actions to meet the long-term transportation vision.

Key recommendations from the plan were presented to Council on July 20, 2017, and Regional Councillors supported the adoption of its recommendations. The Transportation Master Plan document is now available for viewing and any feedback is encouraged.
